Hi. I just received a Kindle 3 3G for Christmas. I am trying to integrate it into my life, and your notes help a great deal. I am very disappointed about the page number issue. Part of reading books for me is reference. I feel confused about the location system. I don’t quite understand how it works. And if I want to go back to a specific section, how do I find it again?

Thanks a lot for this brief but informative review. That page number issue is a big disappointment, but I think I still want to get a Kindle 3. The fact that you have been able to read pdfs for academic purposes with little trouble is especially encouraging.
