According to 16 CFR Part 255, the Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, you should know:
(1) It is possible that authors, publishers, and software and hardware manufacturers and distributors send me free versions of their products to review. Look, I'll be honest...if people are going to send me free stuff, there's a good chance that I'll keep it and continue to use it after posting my review. Of course, this might be considered a form of compensation for my review, but I do not believe that I let that influence my review. Just because you send me free stuff, don't expect that I'll give you a positive review.
(2) When I post links to product pages, on Amazon or on the iTunes App Store for example, sometimes my links include a referral code. This doesn't cost you anything, but allows me to receive a small percentage of the sale of products that are purchased after clicking on the link. While the amount that I receive is small, it does help to offset some of the cost of running this site. In fact, I would like this blog to be self-sustaining someday, so the more stuff you buy using these links, the better. Yep, this gives me a small vested interest in having you purchase products using these links. Nevertheless, I do not believe that I let that influence my review of products. I'm not going to say nice things about a product just so that you will buy it and I will get a fraction of the sale.
